Salzburg’s hottest live-music venue, Rockhouse has a tradition of treating guests to first-rate rock, pop, jazz, folk, metal and reggae concerts. There’s also a tunnel-shaped bar with DJs (usually free) and bands.
Since opening in 1993, Rockhouse Salzburg has established itself as one of the best and most popular music clubs in Europe, true to its motto “Different sounds – on the pulse of time. This is celebrated every year in October with a special birthday program. “The “House of Music” is also an interesting location from an architectural point of view, successfully combining historic vaults with modern architecture.
Located 1km northeast of the Altstadt, Its all-year culture program features over 250 events – concerts, clubbings, workshops, etc.- very compact and diversified. The wide range of music styles at the Rockhouse in Salzburg include alternative, pop, rock, jazz, folk, blues, metal, HipHop and reggae.
International and national stars and newcomers – also away from the mainstream – have appeared on the big Rockhouse stage as well as the smaller club stage in the Rockhouse Bar. January 2021 events
The specifications for events in January are not yet particularly clear, but Rockhouse is planning the implementation as follows:
The Rock The Family appointment on January 4th has been canceled, the next appointment is set for the semester break on February 9th. We are currently planning to hold the rock & pop taster workshop on January 23rd.
The first part of the vocal workshop on January 13th will be on the 27.1. postponed. For the 2nd part, which was actually on January 27th. would have taken place, a new suitable date is just being looked for.
The songwriting workshop on January 14th will be made up at a later date, a new date has not yet been set.
The beginning of the songwriting workshop on January 28th will be brought forward to 6 p.m.
