Top-notch American rapper Kanye West has hinted at running for the United States president in the year 2024, after garnering low votes in the 2020 presidential elections.
The 43-year-old rapper who earlier declared that he would be the country’s president noted that he did not only vote for the first time but also cast his ballot for himself.
West, took to his Twitter handle, shared a photo of himself standing in front of an electoral map with the caption “WELP KANYE 2024.”
The “Ye” crooner wrote, “Today I am voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States, and it’s for someone I truly trust…me.”
“The first vote of my life,” he wrote. “We are here to serve We pray for every servant leader in the world.”
He had appeared on the ballot in a total of 12 states, where he is said to have received a total of more than 57,000 as voting preceded on Tuesday.
West announced his candidacy on 4 July, on Twitter, he wrote “We must now realise the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States.”
