One of the wives of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, Badirat Ajoke aka Queen Ola says she is grateful for healing after fighting many battles in 2020.

In a birthday message she penned for herself on November 3, Ajoke said she been betrayed, depressed and dealt with emotional trauma in the same year.

Stating that not all that glitters is gold, she said the battle only prepared her for better things than those she left.

She wrote “It’s my Birthday. Let me Blow your mind, This Year, I have seen alot, I Fought so many hidden battles, Betrayed Depressed Lied on, Battled Emotional Trauma, Read so many things about myself on the blog that I don’t even know about me.. hmmm.

“Little Did I know it was a step to something more better than what I have left. If I tell you my story, you will probably shed tears with me.. Not all that Glitters is Gold. But, Alihamdulilahi I’m HEALED.”

Meanwhile, reports earlier said that the queen was sent out of the palace for allegedly having other romantic affairs.

Earlier this year, there were speculations that Queen Ola was romantically involved with fuji maestro Kwam 1.

An allegation Kwam 1 denied in a statement by his media adviser, Kunle Rasheed, the musician, who was recently crowned as ‘the Mayegun of Yorubaland’ by the Alaafin of Oyo, said the allegation is untrue and threatened to take legal actions against those who peddling the rumour.

“Let me categorically state that the rumour is lies concocted from the pit of hell by those whose aim is to drag to the mud, the name of K1 De Ultimate and ultimately that of the most revered kingdom in Yoruba land.

“These agents of Lucifer have continued in their warped delusions to see K1 go to the ground just for being conferred with the title of Mayegun of Yoruba land,” Kwam1 noted.
