”Goldfish has no hiding place” is one of the books of late writer James Hardley Chase. Though the book of a crime fiction master storyteller, the theme conjures just what it infers, as the fish just glimmers anywhere it is, for all to see.
And as it relates to High Chief Bamidele Maroof Onifade, his immense impact in the Nigerian movie industry could never have given him the chance to stay inconspicuous even if he desired to; which is the reason he was coronated earlier this month as the 11th Elemo Aga of Ikirun Land, in appreciation of his good and remarkable works promoting actors and the movie industry.
The reloaded party of his coronation is billed for September 6, 2019 at the Treasure Palace Hotel and Resort Ltd, at Ikotun in Lagos where he will be honored, alongside popular musician Obesere who was also given a crown same-day as Chief Onifade.
Strictly by invitation, it promises to be an evening of consummate fun with Fuji Maestro, Pasuma, expected to croon together with Obesere and others.
We doff our hats for the duo and wish them continuous acceleration in their metiers.
